Journeyplanner – (9 months)
Role: Project Manager / Client Liaison / Solution Architect
When: Dec 2008 – Sep 2009
Site: www.journeyplanner.org.nz

The Journeyplanner project was challenging due to two factors, first we had to replicate dynamic routing functionality that Google maps has made mainstream. Second, we had to merge all of the walking tracks from 5 different agencies around the region which was of differing quality and accuracy. The project was unique in that we offer routing over all of the walking tracks in the region. We built a custom draggable routing solution that is capable of delivering routes at 100ms and custom designed natural language description for the walking instructions.

Addressfinder / AddressBuilder – (3 months)
Role: Product Manager
When: 2009

I have been using a number of strategies to help us develop the Address Finder application. Recently, i have working with clients to create more effective interfaces for our address finder tool for locator and web applications. This help us increase the sales of the tool as we were able to cater for the needs of niche users. eg. Customer service users need to be able to cut and paste in their address, we improved our product to parse multi-line addresseses. I have also been working with resellers to sell addressfinder. I have also managed the development of address builder which is a streamlined data management tool used to prepare the data for frontend system.
