I’ve just added a couple of links to help research the blog activity of websites on rankr. Now you can quickly check what the blogspace is says about your site.

A while ago, I mentioned that I have been working on a “Web 2.0” application in my lunchtimes. After laying idle for several weeks, the app has received some much needed attention and is ready for its first release!

What is Rankr

Rankr is a tool that enables you to keep track of website ranking of your competitors over time. Every Tuesday, Rankr downloads the top 5,000 ranked websites based on New Zealand traffic via Alexa monitoring system. Rankr has been monitoring the top websites since September 2006.

Rankr has a number of basic features like: search, graphs, rss etc. to help to track your website.

One last thing, before I get inundated with questions if you’re site doesn’t feature that means its not ranked in the top 5000 visited sites in NZ. Sorry!

For those of us who are particular about our coffee, I have started building the ultimate coffee map. I have started to tag all the cafes around New Zealand with the coffee blend that they use. I need your help to tag the cafes around the country according to the coffee blend that they use.

I’ve already made a start, I have tagged coffee supreme, fuel espresso and Mojo.

Let’s face it, the summer weathers pretty crappy. (Thanks to El Nino!), so why not make the best of the changable winds and hit the water.

There are plenty of options: Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, or find a Yacht , Boat or Cruising Club to hit the water.

Remember to be safe on the water and put on heaps of sunblock !

A quick look at our stats shows that our Australian cousins are getting in the Xmas spirit! Top page in Australia is Kenny Drive Christmas Lights Display in Duncraig, Perth.

Top location in ZoomIn NZ is Hutt Boyz Choppers.

We have just added an opensearch plugin for search ZoomIn.

You’ll need to click on the following link to install the plugin for IE7 and Firefox – Install ZoomIn Open Search Plugin.
