ProjectX and Spatial Data Exchange are proud to announce the release of zoomin.com.au.

We’ve been working really hard on our Australian site over the last couple of months and we’re ready to launch.

ZoomIn is an online platform to share information in your neighbourhood.

Here are three things to help explain what ZoomIn is all about.

Find

Using ZoomIn you can easily find any street address in Australia. As you type in an address, we suggest a number of alternatives to help you find what you are looking for.
We also have friendly URL’s for every address so that you can easily share with your friends.

e.g. Pitt St in Sydney becomes http://www.zoomin.com.au/australia/nsw/sydney/sydney/pitt+street/

or Brunswick Street in Brisbane becomes http://www.zoomin.com.au/australia/qld/brisbane/fortitude+valley/brunswick+street/

Explore

You can explore a variety of places that the ZoomIn community has created. You can browse points of interest, comments, and photos of the peoples favourite places.

Create

You can interact with the ZoomIn in a number of ways. You can create your own places, upload your own photos, and leave comments on places.

Its easy and free

To add anything to the site you’ll need to sign up. Its free to join, so start creating now.

There’s a lot more to discover on the site. Have a look at the site and let us know what you think.
